SCHOOL LESSON PROGRAM

1. New Beginners

$50/hour up to 2 riders $45/hour for 3 or more students

The above $50 is for a full hour on how to tack up, ride, clean and groom the horse.

2. Horse Savy

Note these are prices for students who have the ability to tack up and untack.

1hr group lesson for $55.00 three or more students.

1/2 hr private $65.00

Monthly Charges.

- With 4 lessons per month.

- Lessons missed must be made up in the same month.

- Less than 4 lessons the individual lesson fee will apply. ($200.00 monthly)

For those a little more advanced wanting more than one lesson a week two options

Any missed lesson must be made up in the current month.

3 Group lessons/week ($600 / Month)

All School horse lesson fees must be paid at the beginning of each month, either Single or Monthly lessons

HERRADURA FARMS SUMMER CAMPS

Beginner Students will receive a basic introduction to the enjoyment of English riding. Each day will involve learning how to catch, groom, and tack up the horses as well as some riding time.

The students will learn, each day, a new task of general horse care and riding techniques (feeding program, mucking a stall, bandaging a horse, setting up a course, etc.).

2011 SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE

Camp 1: July 11 - 15 Beginner (Brand new to horse camp).

Camp 2: July 18 - 22 Beginner Intermediate (Has been to at least 1 camp or has had some contact with horses).

Camp 3: July 25 - 29 Horsemanship Week (This week is designed to take those to the next level, learning to lunge, walk a course, set up jumps). Note if this does not fill up as required it will become a Beginner Camp.

Camp 4: August 8 - 12 Beginner (Brand new to horse camp).

Camp 5: August 15-19 Beginner Intermidiate (Has been to at least 1 camp or has had some contact with horses).

Times are as follows:

Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 3:30pm

Friday 9:00 - 12:00

Campers can be dropped off half hour prior to the start of the camp and picked up at the end of the camp. If other arrangements need to be made there will be a charge of $15/day for that service. Arrangements need to be made prior to the start of the week.

The cost is $450 plus gst for the week. Unfortunately we only accept payment by cheque. The $450.00 must be paid upon registration to hold the spot and includes a non refundable $200 deposit. To provide the full experience there are only 6 spots per camp, so register early.

*The camps are geared towards riders with little or no riding experience (although we will accept the more advanced). We accept riders that are 6 years old an up, and all attendees must sign a waiver.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED FOR CAMP

-Lunch Monday - Thursday as well as plenty of snacks and drinks (there is a microwave and fridge available).

-Friday we will provide juice and hot dogs for the kids at noon. Parents are welcome to attend on Friday.

-Boots with a heel, and pants for riding in.

-A change of clothes if you choose when the riding portion is complete

-Herradura Farms provides all the equipment for the horses, but all kids will need a helmet, bike helmets will not do. If you need to purchase one there are numerous tack stores in the area, (Greenhawk, Lammles, Equi-products).

-Optional but recommended is bug spray, sunscreen, and or a visor.
